Radiation Medicine Center
Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca
The three-story, 6,000 sq. ft. addition to Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca is home to their Cayuga Radiation Medicine Center. It offers Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) services, previously not available in the area. A large atrium and reception area identifies this center for excellence and welcomes patients. A large water feature, a four season garden, and artwork celebrating the local landscape are used as positive patient distractions. Throughout the design the architecture supports patient privacy and dignity as well as clinical excellence.

Operated in conjunction with Roswell Park Cancer Institute, the addition is equipped with high speed digital technology which allows for synchronous collaboration between the two centers of expertise. Multi-media conference rooms are also available for patient and family use.
