The 24,200 square foot Art and Design Building houses the Visual Communications, Interior Design and Photography programs, including darkrooms, outdoor sculpture court, art gallery, classrooms and offices.
Situated in Cazenovia's Historic District, the new facility complements the existing architectural fabric. The architecture of the college is reflected in an exterior of red brick highlighted with stone accents, while the scale and mass of the building take clues from the neighboring 19th century buildings. In its location between the village and campus, it serves as a bridge between the Cazenovia and college communities.
