The Center for Health Sciences brings together academic programs in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Exercise and Sports Sciences. This building also includes a wellness clinic housing an array of cardiovascular, free-weight, and circuit-training equipment, and a skylit aerobics room. The architectural challenge was to provide distinct identities for students and clinic patrons, while functionally integrating the operations for the benefit of both groups. Throughout the structure, the emphasis is on openness and spatial integration to foster interdisciplinary connection.
