Andrew Gil promoted to Associate

Andrew Gil joined HOLT as a Project Architect in 1999. Andrew graduated from Harvard College in 1978 and from Harvard Graduate School of Design in 1986. After working for several years with architectural firms in Massachusetts, North Carolina and Maine, he moved to Oregon where he ran a private practice involved in both design and construction from 1991 until relocating to Ithaca shortly before joining HOLT Architects. Andrew has been licensed as an architect in Massachusetts, Oregon and New York. Andrew has dedicated himself to the principles and the practice of Green Building Design and Construction since the early 1990s and, while at HOLT became a LEED Accredited Professional in 2002 and has played a significant role in the LEED Silver certification of numerous projects, in training other LEED Accredited Professionals at HOLT, and serves as a specialist in application of sustainable design practices and commissioning requirements for HOLT planning and design projects. Andrew is also the Ithaca Area Director of the Southern New York Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
