Steven Hugo, AIA, and Paul A. Levesque II, AIA, LEED AP become HOLT Principals

Mr. Hugo joined the firm in 1993 after receiving his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Syracuse University. In 1995 he moved to Rochester, NY where he lived and worked until returning to HOLT in 2000. As a Project Architect Steve has managed new construction and renovation projects for numerous higher education and community projects. Steve serves as the Director of Higher Education at HOLT, providing project specific guidance for college and university clients by focusing on design, and building solutions for their institutions.  Steve is a frequent presenter at events for the higher education community, a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and a member of the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP).  Additionally, Steve is vested in local community growth through his service as President of the Downtown Ithaca Alliance.

Paul Levesque, is a 1992 graduate of Cornell University's College of Architecture, Art, and Planning, and joined the firm in 1994.  Mr. Levesque has worked as a healthcare architect for 14 years and has been instrumental in guiding the design and construction of over $200 million dollars of healthcare projects. Paul provides comprehensive support for each healthcare client by overseeing all design and planning activities, and as a LEED Accredited Professional he promotes integration of sustainable strategies in every project to result in built environments that are healthier for patients, staff, and the environment. As the Director of the Healthcare Studio for HOLT Paul assures exemplary service to the healthcare client through promotion of high-level design, commitment to sustainable strategies, and team collaboration. Paul is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and the American Society of Hospital Engineers (ASHE) and a presenter and contributor for the Healthcare Design Conferences.
