Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit

This project was a renovation that converted the University of Rochester Medical Center, Pediatric ICU, to an Adult Cardiovascular ICU. This project also included the temporary relocation of Strong Memorial’s Burn Unit.

The renovation included refreshed finishes, flooring, and paint on the third and fourth floors, a replacement of the current curtain wall system in order to address existing thermal and moisture issues, enclosing an existing bay into four treatment rooms with attached toilet rooms, and removal and replacement of all HVAC systems.
